ALBA terms of use
Last updated: August 8, 2026.
By downloading, accessing, or using ALBA for iOS or Android, or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
1. The service
ALBA provides local file storage, protected access, an account-isolated browser, compatible web media detection, download management, previews, and offline playback. Features, limits, supported formats, pricing, and availability may change as the product develops.
No feature description is a promise that any particular website, media item, format, or protected stream can be saved or played.
2. Lawful and source-authorized use
You may use ALBA only for content you own, content in the public domain, or content that the source itself explicitly offers for download and saving under its license, terms, or written authorization. Permission to view or stream content is not by itself permission to download or retain it.
You must follow applicable law, copyright and other intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, and the terms and access rules of the source service. If the source does not provide a download right or explicit authorization, do not use ALBA to extract the media.
- Do not use ALBA to infringe copyright or other rights.
- Do not bypass, defeat, or interfere with access controls, digital rights management, encryption, license systems, authentication, paywalls, or technical restrictions.
- Do not misrepresent ALBA as supporting every site or every video.
- Do not use ALBA to store, obtain, or distribute unlawful or harmful material.
3. Your content and responsibility
You retain whatever rights you already have in your content. ALBA does not grant rights to third-party media. You are solely responsible for what you browse, save, import, store, export, and share.
You are also responsible for verifying that a completed file is usable, maintaining independent encrypted exports where needed, and complying with storage, network, and device limitations. Android system backup is disabled; do not uninstall an Android edition as an update step unless your important files are safely exported.
4. Passcodes, biometrics, and device security
You are responsible for keeping your device, passcode, biometric access, exported files, and backups secure. The developer cannot recover your local vault passcode or guarantee recovery after data loss, device failure, deletion, or an incompatible backup.
Security reduces risk but cannot eliminate every possible compromise. Do not describe ALBA as perfectly secure or rely on it as the only copy of irreplaceable information.
5. Websites and third-party services
Websites, content delivery networks, Apple and Google services, app stores, hosting providers, storage providers, and other third parties operate independently from ALBA. Their availability, terms, privacy practices, and technical behavior are outside the developer's control.
Links and compatibility with a service do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or authorization from that service.
6. Purchases and availability
Paid iOS features are processed through Apple and are subject to App Store terms, territory availability, and purchase rules. The direct Android Launch Edition is currently free, includes the complete current feature set, has no ads, and does not use Google Play Billing. Features, pricing, and distribution may change in a future release, with the applicable product description shown before any purchase.
7. Prohibited technical activity
Do not attack, reverse engineer where prohibited, overload, probe, abuse, or circumvent ALBA's security, purchase, source-restriction, or integrity mechanisms. Do not use automated activity that degrades the app, source services, or other users' access.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALBA and this website are provided as available and without warranties that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for third-party content, source changes, lost data, failed downloads, inaccessible backups, device damage, rights disputes, or indirect and consequential losses arising from use of the app.
9. Suspension, changes, and termination
Features may be limited, changed, or removed to protect users, comply with law or platform rules, address abuse, or maintain reliability. You may stop using ALBA at any time and delete local app data through the app or operating system, subject to platform backup behavior.
